Hydridotetrakis(triphenylphosphine)rhodium(I) (cas 18284-36-1) acts as an effective catalyst for the reactions of α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds with silanes to give regioselectively the enol silyl ethers in a 1,4-hydrosilation.
