From isopiestic measurements, hydration constants of the perchlorate ion in nitrobenzene solution of Fe(phen)3(ClO4)2 or Fe(bipy)3(ClO4)2 were estimated using five models, and compared with each other to obtain the best-fit model. We conclude that the mono- and di-hydrate model is the most reasonable.
