The specific heat, C, of Abiezon N grease was measured between 0.1 K and 2.5 K where C = aT + bT3 was found with a = 1.32 × 10−6 J g−1 K−2 and b = 2.58 × 10−5 J g−1 K−4. Below 0.25 K and additional contribution ΔC to C which is visible only in the long term specific heat, is observed. ΔC varies as T−2 and is attributed to a nuclear hyperfine splitting of impurities.
