Polyesters based on a difuranic diacid chloride and various aliphatic diols or bisphenols were prepared by solution and interfacial polycondensation. The latter procedure gave, after optimization, materials with much higher molecular weights. These polymers were characterized in terms of both structure and thermal properties.
