BackgroundAmyloid A (AA) amyloidosis is a multisystemic, progressive, and severe disease. Renal involvement is a prominent feature of the disease, and the outcome of patients on dialysis is poor. We aimed to analyze the outcomes of kidney transplantation in patients with AA amyloidosis in comparison with chronic glomerulonephritis (CGN).
