The vibrational spectra of 3-Bromopropyne (cas 106-96-7)-1-d and 1-bromopropadiene-1-d

Vapor-phase and solution-phase infrared spectra (3800–400 cm−1) and liquid-phase Raman spectra (100–3400 cm−1) were obtained for 3-bromopropyne-1-d, D-CC-CH2-Br, and 1-bromopropadiene-1-d, CH2CCDBr. Complete vibrational assignments are made, and the method of preparation is given for both compounds. The spectroscopic data show that the bromide ion migrates in the rearrangement of H-CC-CH2Br to CH2CCHBr.
