The occurrence of xanthomegnin, viomellein and VIOXANTHIN (cas 15447-05-9) in commercial samples of wheat and oil seed rape, and of xanthomegnin and vioxanthin in barley, is reported for the first time. Analytical methodology for detection and confirmation of these compounds is described.
