1-[N-Phenyl(aminomethyl)]silatrane PhNHCH2Si(OCH2CH2)3N was prepared and characterized by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Its reactivity with CCl4, AgNO3, CuCl2 and α-,β-unsaturated cyclic ketones was investigated.
