Isobaric vapour-liquid equilibrium data at 40.0 and 101.3 kPa for the binary systems 1,4-Dichlorobutane (cas 110-56-5) with 1-butanol, 2-butanol, 2-methyl-1-propanol and 2-methyl-2-propanol are reported. The systems 1,4-dichlorobutane + 1-butanol or 2-methyl-1-propanol at 40.0 kPa show azeotropes. The VLE data are thermodynamically consistent, and the activity coefficients were satisfactorily correlated with the Margules, Van Laar, Wilson, nrtl and uniquac equations.
