Flurazepam hydrochloride melts with decomposition within a 5 ° range between 208° and 218°C when the USP XVIII Class Ia procedure is used. With the advent of good specific ion electrodes , methods were developed to liberate t h e bound fluorine and directly measure the fluoride concentration. This chapter highlights the physical properties, synthesis, stability degradation, metabolic products, and methods of analysis of flurazepam hydrochloride.
