-
Add time:08/25/2019 Source:sciencedirect.com
This chapter describes the pyrolysis of ethers with short carbon chains (dimethyl ether, diethyl ether), other aliphatic ethers, unsaturated ethers, and aromatic ethers such as diphenyl ether, diphenyl ether-type herbicides, and polybrominated diphenyl ethers. It also presents pyrolysis of ethers with one alkyl and one aryl substituent, such as those included in a lignin structure. Also, the pyrolysis of ethylene oxide and other oxiranes, 1,4-tetrahydrofuran, 1,4-dioxane, and related compounds, crown ethers and of other cyclic ethers is discussed. The chapter also presents the pyrolysis of acetals and hemiacetals.
