The crystal structure of silver(II) 5,10,15,20-tetra(ethoxycarbonyl)porphyrin (Ag[II]TECP) revealed it formed a one-dimensional coordination polymer through weak Ag–O interactions with an unusual six-coordinated central silver(II) atom.
