Crystal structure of bis(α-methacrylato)-2,2′-bipyridine-monohydrate copper(II)

The X-ray crystal structure of the title copper(II) complex has been determined and shows that the complex is mononuclear with distorted square pyramidal coordination from two monodentate carboxylates, a bidentate bipyridiyl and one aquo ligands.
