1.1. Isolation of a vanadium concentrate from commercial petroleum of the Kalamkas deposit was studied using sulphonic acids: p-toluensulphonic acid, sulphobenzoic, sulphosalicyclic and sulphanilic acids.2.2. Isolation of vanadium from petroleum is maximized using p-toluenesulphonic acid (after twofold contact recovery was 75%) and sulphobenzoic acid (after the first contact recovery was 47%).3.3. In addition to the reduction of vanadium content in petroleum, the contents of ash, asphaltene, porphyrin and sulphur also decrease.
