Infrared and Raman spectra of NCCSN(CH3)2(DMCTF) have been measured, and the fundamental vibration frequencies have been proposed and discussed in terms of the potential energy distribution. A generalised valence force field and force constants comparable with those of other simple tertiary thioamides have been calculated.
