The preparation of N2-phenoxylacetyl-S6-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-6-thioguanosine phosphoramidite and its subsequent incorporation into oligoribonucleotides is described. The identity of the oligonucleotides was confirmed by UV spectrophotometry and nucleoside composition analysis.
