MGK-264- pyrethroid synergism against Lymnaea acuminata

Studies were carried out on the synergistic effects of MGK-264 used in conjunction with two synthetic pyrethroids deltamethrin and fenvalerate on the aquatic snail Lymnaea acuminata. Log-dose probit lines were prepared according to the probit analysis of Finaey1. For the computation of data, a computer program POLO-PC2 was used. MGK-264, which is an esterase inhibitor, was found to decrease the LC10, LC50 and LC90 of both deltamethrin and fenvalerate, at all the exposure periods.
