Molar electrical conductivity of sodium sulfonamides in aqueous solution at several temperatures
-
Add time:09/24/2019 Source:sciencedirect.com
Molar electrical conductivities of three ionic sulfonamides: sodium sulfadiazine (NaSD), sodium sulfamerazine (NaSMR) and sodium sulfamethazine (NaSMT), have been determined in aqueous solution as functions of solute concentration and temperature. The values of ionic molar electrical conductivity of the anions were correlated to the hydrophobicity of anions. Other parameters like ionic pair association constant, hydrodynamic radii and Walden product were calculated. The results are interpreted in terms of structuration of the solvent around the ion.
