Add time:09/27/2019 Source:sciencedirect.com
The mechanism and the thermodynamic and kinetic factors of the oxygenation of cobalt(II) complexes are discussed based on data available to date. It is shown that the essential features of the oxygenation of cobalt(II) complexes are explicable with the mechanisms to be proposed. Some other pertinent points such as misconception regarding the extent of electron transfer in O2−-complex, m, n vs ΔG curves, and reacivities are also discussed. All in all, this article attempts to offer a coherent view of the subject.
