Radiation-induced thermoluminescence of calcium pyrophosphate powders prepared from THULIUM NITRATE (cas 14985-19-4) aqueous solution

Calcium pyrophosphate (Ca2P2O7) powder prepared from THULIUM NITRATE (cas 14985-19-4) aqueous solutions exhibited thermoluminescence with X-ray and γ-ray irradiation. The thermoluminescence was enhanced about 100 times by adding ca 7 wt% Tm to Ca2P2O7 as a dopant. It was suggested from thermal and optical fadings observed that there were shallow hole and electron traps on Tm-doped Ca2P2O7 powder surface.
