2-[10,11-Dihydro-5-ethoxy-5H-dibenzo[a,d]cyclohepten-5-yl]-N,N-dimethyl-ethanamine (1) has been found to possess anticytokine activity. The synthesis and structure-activity relationship study of a series of analogues are reported.
