Uses of Biuret: it is used as pharmaceutical intermediate, growth hormone, blowing agent and paint. It is also used to produce 1-nitro-biuret. The reaction occurs with reagents 96% sulfuric acid, 70% nitric acid for 1.5 hours. The yield is about 47%.
