Under UV irradn., the absorption of the enol form decreased, whereas the absorption band at 240-250 nm assigned to the diketone form increased in intensity with increasing irradn. time. Because the 3 compds. had different tautomeric processes and different abilities to form H bonds, it had different abilities to stabilize polymers.
