- Preparation of solutions for sulfanilamide drug injections in the pharmacy and pharmaceutical plant. Voropanov, E. I. (USSR). Farmatsiya (Moscow), 25(4), 24-8 (Russian) 1976. CODEN: FRMTAL. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 63 (Pharmaceuticals) A stabilizing agent composed of Trilon B [64-02-8], anhyd. Na2SO3, and a charged cation exchanger stabilized solns. of 4 sulfanilamide Na salts. Optical d., pH, and chromatog. characteristics showed that sol. streptocid [63-74-1] and ethazole Na [1904-95-6] prepns. could be safely stored for 1 year, sulfacyl Na [127-56-0] for 6 months, and norsulfazole [72-14-0] for 15 days in the presence of the stabilizing complex in neutral glass vials sterilized by autoclaving at 119-121.degree..
- Interactions between rubber closures and sulfacetamide sodium solutions
- Interactions between rubber closures and sulfacetamide sodium solutions. Tawfik, A. S.; Kassem, A. A.; Ibrahim, S. A.; El-Sourady, H. A.; Shawky, S. (Fac. Pharm., Univ. Assiut, Assiut, Egypt). Bull. Fac. Pharm., Cairo Univ., 13(1), 1-13 (English) 1974. CODEN: BFPHA8. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 63 (Pharmaceuticals) Translucent (natural) and Red rubber closures had insignificant effects on hydrolytic degrdn. of sulfacetamide Na [127-56-0], but color formed in the solns. in the presence of the closures. Na2SO3, Na2S2O5, di-Na edetate [139-33-3], and benzalkonium chloride slightly increased the hydrolysis of I but their effects on color were variable. Di-Na edetate and Na2S2O5 greatly enhanced the color development in the presence of rubber stoppers. Materials leached from the closure enhanced color development in I solns. The presence of high concns. 139-33-3 and 7757-83-7 are just another two chemicals used in this study. of I in contact with rubber closures decreased the water. sorption of the closures on storage. .
