  • The Green Chemistry Institute
  • The Green Chemistry Institute (GCI) was incorporated in 1997 as a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation devoted to promoting and advancing green chemistry. In January 2001, GCI joined the American Chemical Society (ACS) in an increased effort to address global issues at the intersection of chemistry and the environment.

    Over its history, the ACS GCI has worked extensively with the US EPA Green Chemistry Program to promote green chemistry.
