Phytochemistry covers research on all aspects of plant chemistry, plant biochemistry, plant molecular biology and chemical ecology. The journal is divided into eight sections: Review Articles; Protein Biochemistry; Molecular Genetics and Genomics; Metabolism; Ecological Biochemistry; Chemotaxonomy; Bioactive Products and Chemistry (including Macromolecules). In addition to the regular (primary) issues of the journal, there are special issues dedicated solely to Structure Elucidation.
