  • When men get middle-aged, many of them are troubled by alopecia. In fact, alopecia can be effectively prevented if men form good habits in daily life. Eight habits will be introduced for men so as to alleviate the alopecia. 

    First, men should quit smoking as far as possible. According to the medical research, smoking has become an important reason of inducing alopecia. Therefore, men with alopecia and their children should avoid cigarettes in daily life.

    Second, men should wash their hair moderately. It is bad for men to wash hair too frequently. Generally speaking, men can wash hair two or three times each week in the water of 40 degrees centigrade. When they wash hair, they can softly massage the scalp, which can not only clean the skin but also accelerate the blood circulation. What’s more, they should choose shampoo with temperate functions.

    Fourth, men should learn to relax themselves in daily life. High pressure life and work and long-term fatigue can seriously affect the sleep and worsen the alopecia.     Fifth, men should decrease the times of hair-dyeing and perming. The frequent hair-dyeing and perming can destroy the elasticity and glossiness of the hair.

    Sixth, men should not wear a hat for a long time. If a man always wears the hat or helmet, the hair can be pressed by the hat or the helmet, which can expand the pores and cause alopecia. Therefore, it is unreasonable for men to wear the hat too long.

    Seventh, men should maintain the balanced and reasonable diet. It is beneficial for men to avoid oily and spicy foods in daily life and increase the intake of foods like grain, vegetables and fruits. The intake of the foods containing vitamin A, iron and calcium like black soy bean, black sesame and eggs should also be increased, which can nourish the hair.

    Eighth, men should strictly control the time of surfing the internet. The frequent contact with computer can easily cause alopecia. When people always use the computer, the central nervous system will be restrained in a nervous state, which can cause the disorder of vegetative nervous system and affect the shrinkage of the blood vessels inside the skin. Thus, the supply of blood will be decreased to cause the malnutrition of hair follicles and alopecia.
