The mass spectra of the appropriate 4-ethyl derivatives, which provide the determination of the configuration of the 4 position in the initial alcohols, are registered in the chromato-mass spectrometric investigation of the mixtures of the stereoisomeric 4-vinyl-trans-decahydroquinol-4-ols using a microreactor for the hydrogenation; the microreactor is placed before or after the chromatographic column.
