The reaction of 1-acyloxy-2-propenyltrimethyl silane (1) with α,β-unsaturated ketones in the presence of tetra-n-butylammonium fluoride has been investigated.In all cases the reaction was regiospecific resulting in the conjugate addition of a 1-acyloxy-2-propenyl function.
