A stereocontrolled synthesis of O-(6-O-sulfo-β-D-GlcNAc)-(1-3)-O-(6-O-sulfo-β-D-Gal)-(1-4)-O-(6-O-sulfo-β-D-GlcNAc)(1-3)-Gal trisodium salt, a part structure of the acidic glycan of bovine corneal keratan sulfate, was achieved for the first time.
