Two macrocyclic peptides included in vancomycin have been synthesized using TTN oxidating method.Of them, the macrocyclic tetrapeptide is regarded as an important moiety of vancomycin which forms a binding pocket for the carboxylate region of the terminal D-Ala-D-alanine.
