The reaction of the phenylethynyl-substituted silanes (H)(R)(R')Si(C<*>CPh) (I-III, XXII) and (PhC<*>C)(R)SiH2 (XII, XIII) with Co2(CO)8 resulting in the formation of monomeric and oligomeric complex compounds is described.Co2(CO)8 (IV) reacts selectively
