Known ecdysteroids - ecdysterone, ecdysterone 22-acetate, polypodin B, integristerone A, and sileneosides A and D - and a new phytoecdysteroid - polpodin B 22-acetate - have been found in the epigeal parts of the plant Melandrium turkestanicum (Rgl.) Vved. (family Caryophyllaceae).
