The title diene displays a notably higher diastereofacial selectivity towards 4-phenyl-1,2,4-triazoline-3,5-dione, pyridazine-3,6-dione and phthalazine-1,4-dione than toward N-phenylmaleimide, 1,4-benzoquinone and 1,4 naphthoquinone.
