The conformation of the imidazolidine ring in the title compound, C21H17N3O, is almost flat with a maximum deviation of +/-0.031 (8) Angstroem from the least-squares plane through the ring.The structure is stabilizde by an intermolecular hydrogen bond.This type of compound can be used in addition reactions with isocyanates.
