1-Aryloxyacetyl-4-(4-chlorophenyloxyacetyl)-semicarbazides (IIa-j) are synthesized using 1-aryloxyacetyl-4-(4-chlorophenyloxyacetyl)-thiosemicarbazides (Ia-j) as starting materials and KIO₃ as reagent in the aqueous solution.
