T cell activators. Hydrophobic and electrostatic contri-
butions dominate the CoMSIA fields, and using a
training/test set approach, the method was found to
have predictive utility (about a factor of 4.5 error in IC50
prediction). These results and approaches may be of use
in the development of novel bisphosphonates for use in
immunotherapy, where very recently it has been shown
that pamidronate/IL-2 therapy has potential in treating
some hematological malignancies,16 in addition to pro-
viding an intriguing set of correlations among γδ T cell
activation, FPPS inhibition and chemical structure.
