The preparation and properties of (Ph3P)2(CO)(Cl)(H)IrX (X = FPF5, ClAlCl3) are reported.The PF6 complex reacts with water to give the difluorophosphato compound (Ph3P)2(CO)(Cl)(H)IrOPOF2 which was characterized by X-ray structure analysis.The X-ray structure analysis of <(Ph3P)2(CO)(Cl)(H)Ir(OH2)>+BF4- shows hydrogen bridges between the coordinated water and the BF4- ion forming a dimer.
