The radioactivity of this mixture was measured in a well
counter and a portion (1mL) analyzed by injection onto
a gradient HPLC system, a l-Bondapak-C18 column
(300 · 7.8mm o.d.; 10lm particle size) eluted at
6.0mL/min with acetonitrile–0.01M phosphoric
acid.47,48 Over 98% of the radioactivity in the blood
sample was recovered in the deproteinized plasma taken
for analysis.
