Studies in pheromone biosynthesis: Preparation of 3H labelled precursors of Drosophila pheromones

Two synthetic schemes were designed giving access to tritium labelled potential precursors of Drosophila pheromones. An intermediate in the first scheme allowed the preparation of [³H]-labelled vaccenyl acetate.
