The reactions of Mo(CO)4(DAB) compounds (DAB = diacetyldihydrazone (DDH), glyoxalcyclohexylamine (GCy)) with Cl2, Br2 and I2 under mild conditions can be described as oxidative elimination reactions.CO is eliminated, and seven-coordinate molybdenum(II) sp
