Dimethylammonium chlorochromate adsorbed on silica gel (DMCC/SiO₂) makes the regeneration of carbonyl compounds from oximes, semicarbazones, 4- phenyl-semicarbazones, and p-nitrophenylhydrazones in good yields under mild and non-aqueous conditions.
