from supersensitive effect of the terbium ion. The peak positions
of fluorescent emission of the Tb-compound are consistent with
the known ones for free terbium ions, indicating that the effect of
the photoluminescence of organic ligands could be negligible in
compound 5.

In summary, six new lanthanide metal-organic frameworks

have been synthesized by hydrothermal reactions, and the
complexes exhibit the different frameworks. The diverse struc-
tures imply subtle effects of lanthanide ion radii on crystal
structural formation. Complex 5 illustrates remarkable thermal
stability and strong photoluminescent emission at the solid state.
The contribution may afford useful information for the construc-
tion of lanthanide photoluminescent materials.
