Reinvestigation on the optical purities of optically active trimethylsilyl enol ethers of 4-substituted cyclohexanones

Maximum rotations of (R)-4-tert-butyl-, (R)-4-phenyl-(R)-4-isopropyl-, and (R)-4-methyl-1-trimethylsilyloxycyclohexenes ((R)-3a, (R)-3b, (R)-3c, and (R)-3d) were determined to be [α]₃₆₅²⁵ + 237° (benzene), [α]₃₆₅²⁵ + 146° (benzene), [α]₃₆₅²⁵ + 228° (benzene), and [α]₃₆₅²⁵ + 238° (benzene), respectively.
