by the solvo/hydrothermal method. The germanate
formed by Ge O clusters has eight- and ten-membered

channels with the cobalt amine complex protruding in
the eight-membered channels. This germanate may be
considered to be an example of a metal complex-grafted
microporous solid.

inter-cluster connectivities are similar to I, except that
there are four terminal –OH groups in the Ge unit.
