A solution of triethanolamine (0.37 g, 2.5 mmol) in methanol
10 mL) was added drop wisely upon stirring to a solution of
Ni(HOr)(H O) ]·H O [20] (0.76 g, 2.5 mmol) in distilled water

3.3 Crystallographic analysis
Data collection were performed on a STOE IPDSII image plate

detector using Mo K radiation (λ ϭ0.71019 A). Intensity data
α
were collected in the θ range 1.88-26.00° and 296 K. Details of
crystal structures are given in Table 3. Data collection: Stoe X-
AREA [25]. Cell refinement: Stoe X-AREA [25]. Data reduction:
Stoe X-RED [25]. The structure was solved by direct-methods
using SIR97 [26] and anisotropic displacement parameters were ap-
plied to non-hydrogen atoms in a full-matrix least-squares refine-
