N-(Trimethylsilyl)formaldimine-AlCl3 complex 2b was generated by treating (trimethylsilyl)methyl azide with AlCl3.The reaction of 2b with various kinds of enol triisopropylsilyl ethers afforded α'-aminomethylated enol silyl ethers in good yields.
