CYCLOPEPTIDE ALKALOIDS FROM ZIZYPHUS RUGOSA BARK

The isolation of cyclopeptide alkaloids, nummularine-P, sativanine-H and rugosanine-B, a new 13-membered cyclopeptide alkaloid from the bark of Zizyphus rugosa is reported.The structure of the new alkaloid was elucidated by spectroscopic methods as well as by chemical degradation.
