Preparation and acylation of a new biotinylation reagent

Biotinylamidopropylammonium trifluoroacetate was obtained by acylation of 4-(tert-butyloxycarbonylamino)propylamine, followed by removal of the protective group. Consequently, it was found to be useful for the development of effective immunoassays.
