The reactivity of trimethyl orthobenzoate has been studied, at 310.5 K, in solutions of the glycine and taurine conjugates of the cholanic acids.The rate-concentration profiles are characterized by peaks and troughs which coincide with discontinuities in the slopes of the surface tension-concentration profiles.
